The Time in Nature Theme
At the heart of Sylvan Reveries lies a simple belief: spending time in nature nourishes both body and mind. Our designs are not only artistic expressions but also gentle reminders to pause, wander, and restore balance. Whether it’s a walk in the woods or a moment spent gazing at wildflowers, these experiences ground us and cultivate true wellbeing.
Our Sub-Themes
👑 Mythology
Ancient stories remind us that the natural world has always been sacred. Goddesses like Artemis, Persephone, and Aphrodite symbolise courage, renewal, and harmony with the wild — qualities reflected in many of our designs. We blend classical motifs with modern minimalism to honour the enduring connection between myth and nature.
📚 Literature
From Shakespeare’s forests to the enchanted landscapes of Milton and Wordsworth, nature has long been a source of creative awakening. Our literature-inspired designs celebrate that poetic dialogue between human thought and the living world — reminding us that great words, like deep roots, grow best in fertile soil.
🌸 Wild Flowers
The quiet resilience of wildflowers — bluebells in the shade, dog roses in the hedgerow — captures the beauty of small things flourishing without artifice. These designs evoke hope, renewal, and the delicate ecosystems that sustain life itself.
🌳 Ancient Woodland
Woodlands are our oldest sanctuaries — places of mystery, refuge, and renewal. Our woodland-themed creations draw from the textures and silhouettes of oaks, ferns, and moss-carpeted paths to evoke the peace of walking beneath a living canopy.

All Sylvan Reveries designs are original creations, conceived and developed by John Evans of NetVista Ltd. Before release, phrases and visual composition are carefully checked to ensure no prior usage or existing work closely resembles the graphic component, except where a snippet from literature, available in the public domain, is deliberately selected as part of the design, in which case the original source is referenced. Otherwise, every concept is wholly the product of our own imagination — not copied from, nor based upon, any other work.

About the Creator
John Evans is a UK-based IT professional who provides consultancy services to one of the world's top ten universities and whose lifelong fascination with the natural world — from wildflowers through mythology to human physiology — is inspiring a creative journey blending art, literature, and science. Through Sylvan Reveries, he aims to rekindle the joy of being outdoors and to remind people everywhere that time in nature is time well spent.
